Driving down Melrose Ave., I saw a digital billboard for LA’s 100.3 The Sound.
It displayed, “Now Playing: Weezer - Say It Ain’t So”. I thought that was pretty cool, so I clicked on the radio and turned the dial to 100.3. Weezer wasn’t playing. It was the middle of a different song.
Lies. Lies. Lies. If you’re gonna make a Now Playing sign - make it work! I feel like this is a metaphor for the entire state of media, as it’s always been, but now we should be doing something about it.
On a positive note, the other song that was playing was Beast of Burden by The Rolling Stones - so I couldn’t be that disappointed.
