I'm bummed to say that the AMERICAN EXPRESS SMILEY campaign is a ripoff

I got an email today from the designer of these photo books that the agency plagiarized. I don’t discredit the director and artists involved in making the commercial look good, but a great big “fuck you” to Ogilvy & Mather for not only stealing the idea once, but for being so unoriginal as to use it a second time for a different campaign.
