It is kind of ironic that nobody cared about the stray dog when it was tied up somewhere dying. I really think the only people that have the right to be mad about this are those who practice the Vegan lifestyle….and I’m not one of those people. So the only thing I can do is look at this with an optimistic attitude.

When I first read this I was super pissed off too, and then I really thought about it and I realize that I eat a lot of meat, meaning that I’m supporting killing animals for LESS than art…What we should do is consider Natvidad a soldier who died for a cause. Thousands of dogs die in the streets every year, at least Natvidad brought light to a problem…the only thing is everybody is worried more about the dead dog Natvidad than the dogs that are dying in the streets….Ughm….pointless. get over it. go rescue an animal that can actually use your help.

post script: During fiscal year 2007, the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control killed 52,800 of the 85,975 animals they impounded…and you are worried about a 50 year old Cost Rican artist shedding light on the subject?
